Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Embirea uses cookies and similar technologies, the types we set, and how you can control them.

Last updated 21 June 2026

1What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember your actions and preferences - like staying signed in - over time. “Similar technologies” include local storage, pixels and SDKs that work in comparable ways. We refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.

2How we use cookies

We use cookies for a few clear purposes:

  • Strictly necessary - to sign you in, keep your session secure, remember your cookie choices, and run core features. The site can't work properly without these, so they don't require consent.
  • Functional - to remember preferences and power embedded features such as maps and payment checkout.
  • Analytics - to understand, in aggregate, how the product is used so we can improve it. We only set these with your consent.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell your data.

4Third-party cookies

Some features load content from third parties that may set their own cookies, under their own privacy and cookie policies:

  • Google Maps - when an interactive map is shown.
  • Revolut and PayPal - when you link a wallet or check out.
  • Analytics provider - only if you consent to analytics cookies.

We don't control these cookies; please review the relevant provider's policy.

5Other local storage

To make the app fast and keep drafts safe, we may store small amounts of data in your browser's local or session storage - for example an in-progress itinerary or your interface preferences. This stays on your device and is cleared when you clear your browser data.

6Managing your cookies

You're in control of non-essential cookies:

  • Where we offer a cookie preferences control, use it to accept or reject analytics cookies - and change your mind any time.
  • Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you do this per-site or globally.
  • Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in, checkout and other core features.

7Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. We'll revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
